The Only Auction company to Feature in NI’s Top 100 Companies 2024

Wilsons Auctions is pleased to be placed in this year’s Belfast Telegraph Top 100 Companies, making it onto the list for the third consecutive year.

The annual report in partnership with Grant Thornton outlines the ranks of Northern Ireland’s most successful companies in order of pre-tax profits.

It is said that this year’s list is launched in atmosphere of renewed optimism, shining a spotlight on the business leaders and teams driving our economy. The companies span across a range of various sectors and industries.

Wilsons Auctions is the only Northern Ireland Auction House to gain a place on the eagerly-awaited report.

Peter Johnston, Group Operations Director at Wilsons Auctions commented, “There are over 120,000 registered companies in Northern Ireland, so to be placed on the list is a great achievement and testament to the hard work put in by our great team.

Family values are core to our business ethos and objectives. Noted for our “can do” attitude, we make sure that our customers have the very best, personal auction experience.

We continue to reinvest in the business to improve our infrastructure, and footprint, to put us in a firm position for the future.”

Wilsons Auctions has grown from a single auction site in Northern Ireland to become the largest independent auction company in the UK and Ireland with an annual hammer total in excess of £500 million.

Wilsons Auctions manages over 3,200 auctions annually across 19 sites in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

With national auction centres, re-marketing and storage premises, Wilsons Auctions is the only auction company to offer coverage across the entire UK and the Island of Ireland. Our national coverage allows departments to efficiently manage collection and storage of any volume and category of asset.
